Aging Exercise #5:
Anything More Than 90 Minutes Per Week

We now know what Becky and I have suspected for more than two decades: you should never exercise longer than 90 minutes a week.
I'm not talking about moderate exercise like walking, gardening, or light biking. Those are fun activities. They just won't shape up your body or help you lose weight. I'm referring to exercises that tone you up and burn a lot of calories.
Weight training, interval cardio, and moderate to intense movements… all of these should be limited to 3 days per week and/or 90 minutes total per week.
The reason? We go right back to those "aging particles" known as free radicals. Specifically, their effect on your number one fat-burning organ: your liver.
Have a look at the science:
Men and women participants in a Laval University study who exercised just 20-30 minutes saw faster results than those doing 40-60 minute workouts. Researchers suspected that free radicals helped induce deadly liver enzymes.
Your liver is your #1 fat-burning organ. It also detoxifies your body so you can absorb the nutrients you need. Without your liver functioning properly, you cannot recover from your workouts. And you can't lose weight. So you see no results. We now know that too much exercise can damage your liver. And when your liver is damaged, it produces two enzymes in large amounts: AST and ALT. In high amounts, these enzymes are deadly.
In a study published in The British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, those who exercised for up to 60 minutes showed substantial increases in AST and ALT.
Researchers now warn that long duration exercise is bad for you. Also, frequent and intense exercise should be avoided. They believe these commonly prescribed workouts can lead directly to chronic liver disease… and a diseased liver means you age much faster.
WARNING: THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!
We're not going to lie to you: The F4X System is definitely not for everyone. For example:
