Aging Exercise #2:
"Insane" In-Home Routines

We've all seen them: those late-night infomercials with young, fit, highly energetic models bouncing up and down. They talk a big talk: how "insane" it is, or how it's "the hardest workout ever". But do they live up to the hype?

Yes and no. These routines often demand that you workout 90 minutes per workout… and usually 5 days per week. Those young enough to recover from such intense exercise...and lucky enough to pull off the hefty time commitment… often see results. The vast majority do not.

Even worse: most people over 40 increase free radicals to a dangerous level when using these routines. Free radicals are age-accelerating particles that scientists believe may be the cause of aging itself. That is still up for debate, but the evidence is mounting.

Just imagine it: the thing you're doing to look and feel better is producing age-inducing particles in your blood. These free radicals damage you at the cellular level, so even your organs age faster. Traditional cardio workouts do the same thing. They exhaust you internally, and produce massive amounts of free radicals.

The bottom line is few people can exercise for 90 minutes a day… and frankly, you'd be foolish to try. Most research (as you'll soon see) points to much less exercise… about 90 minutes or so per WEEK… to see optimal results. It just has to be the right kind of exercise.
